As I browsed the tags earlier today, I saw that the problem of male-exclusionary witchcraft and trans-exclusionary witchcraft have apparently arisen once again in the community. I’ll address this briefly since everyone else seems to be as well. As far as this blog is concerned: trans-women are women, trans-men are men, women and men are equally qualified to practice witchcraft (and both have been persecuted historically for it and both continue to be persecuted for it in select communities today). Regular witchcraft blogging will continue, but I want us all to be on the same page about where this blog stands on this particular issue as I’ll not stand ahistorical depictions of witchcraft as a cis, female only practice because it just isn’t true.
