Metawork Terminology Series: [ Astral Work ] [ Spirit Work ]

I frequently use a lot of energy work terms that have specific meanings to me based on my experiences and understanding of energy. I’ve seen these terms used by other energy workers too, but the way in which they are used seems to differ somewhat to each person’s background, experience, and beliefs.

For other energy workers curious to compare definitions and for clients of mine who want a better understanding of what I mean by these terms, I wanted to share my personal definitions! These definitions are not put forward as the only possible meanings, they are simply based on my own experiences.

Energy Basics, Types & Bodies

Energy – The underlying forces of the universe (different from physics energy) that can be sensed, manipulated, and used as the basis of magical workings. Every entity in the universe has energy residing in and around it.

Energy type – A distinct type of energy that has its own properties such as water energy, air energy, fae energy, nature energy, void energy, etc.

Energy alignment – When an entity (such as an object, spirit, or person) has a significant connection with or association with a specific energy type.

Energy body – The interior and exterior aspects of someone’s entire energy field running through and intertwined with their astral body. The energy body contains energy centers and channels that intake, process, and expel energy in addition to other specialized functions.

Energy signature – The “DNA” of an energy body that shows the specific composition of energy types and alignments that entity has. It can sometimes also reveal or hint at features of an entity’s energy and astral bodies.

Energy system – The specific way in which all the parts of your energy body operate both internally with each other and externally with energies and entities in the surrounding environment.

Energy centers – A nexus of energy where a significant amount of energy is present and being processed in some kind of way. Energy centers typically have specific functions within an energy system.

Energy channel – A stream where energy flows from one location to another. In an energy system, energy centers are connected by channels.

Energy modes – Classifications for entities who have certain types of energy systems. Some examples include energy vampires, energy suns, empaths, and dischargers. See more information here [x].

Energy Work & Reading

Metawork – The practice and discipline of the three highly interrelated fields of energy work, spirit work, and astral work.

Energy work – The practice and discipline of reading, manipulating, channeling, or directing the flow of energy. A sub-field of metawork. This is not necessarily a type of witchcraft, but can be referred to as witchcraft when energy work is incorporated into someone’s witchcraft practice. Many other types of magical traditions that are not forms of witchcraft also include energy work.

Energy reading – The practice and discipline of sensing energy. A sub-field of energy work. Some examples include aura reading, energy system reading, astral body reading, or energy signature reading.

Energy programming – Using a specific method or technique to direct or manipulate energy in a certain set of ways. Energy programming is an integral aspect of energy work.

Intent – When I say “intent,” I’m referring to the overall purpose and design of the way in which I’ve programmed energy for a magical working.

Energy tether – A connection between two different spirits, objects, people, or other distinct entities. Energy tethers can be used as energy channels to move energy from one entity to another, but they could be used for other purposes.

Charging – Directing energy from any external source to another entity, usually an inanimate object. The object may retain the energy it was charged with for a certain period of time, possibly making it more effective for magical workings.

Energy battery – An object that has been highly charged and can retain this charge for later use. The purpose of a battery is typically only to store the energy it was charged with.

Grounding – Purposefully releasing energy from yourself to an external location. Energy suns must regularly ground to sustain a healthy energy system, but anyone is capable of grounding.

Energy feeding – The opposite of grounding, or purposefully intaking energy from any external source. Energy vampires must use energy feeding to sustain a healthy energy system, but anyone is capable of energy feeding.

Cleansing – The removal of unwanted energies, which usually resets an entity back to its original state. Sometimes also includes replacing the unwanted energies with desired energies.

Energy Shield – Energy shaped and programmed for protection then attached to an entity (such as an object, spirit, or person). Weaker than a ward and more temporary, shields are usually a quick and ephemeral form of defense.

Energy Ward – Like a shield, except generally much larger and attached to a location. This could be a physical or astral place. Personal wards are attached to an entity (such as an object, spirit, or person), but generally are much stronger and last much longer than a shield.

Ward System – A multilayer, complex set of wards. Typically each layer is programmed for a different type of function and when combined these layers synergetically work together for well-designed protection.

Intro to Protective Energy Work

thespellweavingspirit:

There are many ways to magically protect yourself. Wards, protective circles, crystals, charm bags, herbs, and shields are only a few. I have a few other posts concerning this, but you can never have too many protection info, in my opinion. Most of my own protections were done using energy work, and those are the methods we will talk about today. We’ll cover protective circles first.

Protective circles are a temporary protection employed around a certain place. It protects everything inside of it. It’s normally used for spirit communication, spells, rituals, and even as a quick form of cleansing. There are many ways to put up a protective circle. The first way is a physical way. Sometimes during my rituals, I spread my protective herbal mixture on the ground in a circle. It’s salt-free, so I can safely use it outside, too. You can also plant a circle of mushrooms, a circle of rocks/crystals, a circle of branches, etc. Many people also use energy in combination with the physical circle, though, including me. The physical circle acts as a boundary that you set. When I spread my herbs, I then go around the circle a second time and charge the herbs with energy so that their protective qualities will be activated and form an impenetrable circle around me. You do not have to have a physical circle to put up a circle, though. You can make one purely using energy work. Keep in mind, though, that the energetic boundary might be shaky the first few times you do it if you don’t have some kind of physical boundaries already set.

My favorite way to set up a circle of protection is to create an energy ball inside myself. You make it as dense as you possibly can, while still making it hollow. Then you throw your intent into the ball. Tell it that you want it to protect you and the space around you. Make sure to verbally set boundaries for it though, like the walls of your room. It won’t be a perfect circle if you do that, but it will still be a place of protection. After you throw all your intents at the ball, “blow” on it and visualize it expanding to fill the boundaries you have set for it.

You can also use protective circles during energy work to help keep your energies inside so they aren’t acting like a beacon for any nearby spirits. All you have to do to create a protective circle for a specific purpose is tell the energy ball what you want it to do. The energy, as it is yours, will understand you and do so.

Shields. These, rather than being a temporary form of protection set up around a place, are a semi-permanent form of protection set up around a person, namely, you. Empaths frequently use shields, to help protect them against the overwhelming emotions of others. You can also use shields to help protect others from you. When doing energy work there is always a possibility that you’ll start leaking and attract spirits. Another potential side effect of leaking energy is affecting the people around you. I don’t expect any of you will run into this problem for some time but you should know it does happen. That is why I am teaching this lesson; so that you can protect yourself and others from some potentially weird and dangerous side-effects of energy work. Shields function not only to keep certain types of energy (as well as mental attacks, etc) out, but it can also serve to keep your energy in.

When I was having problems a few years ago with fluctuating energy levels, my friends started to become more spiritually awake as a result. Just by being around me they were gaining new abilities and it scared them. It scared me. Once I got it under control, most of their abilities faded with time. It was crazy. I tell you this so you know. It happens. It’s not something to be afraid of, but it is a sign you need to get yourself under control.

To make a shield, you can use the same bubble method I spoke of before. Only, instead of setting boundaries with your intent, you can instead tell your bubble that it needs to protect you and only you, and it should move with you. You can shield your entire energy system, you can shield your mind, you can shield your body. It really just matters what your use is. You can shield your emotions, even.

Another common form of protection is wards. A ward is sort of like a combined version of a shield and a protective circle. There are many, many different ways to create a ward, but since this is an energy work lesson I’ll be talking about how to create a ward using energy.

You do not have to use your own energy to create a ward. In fact, you probably don’t have enough energy on your own to power one. Not yet, anyway. Creating a ward is much more complicated than a protective circle or a shield since it is permanent until you take it down. You have to write out everything you want the ward to do before-hand. These are called the “boundaries”. You also want to pre-determine what your sources for the ward will be. Mine are sourced from my spirit companions, various elements, and myself. You can also use deities and natural resources, such as rain or the sun or moon. Or all of the above.

The reason that they’re a bit more complex is that, in order to have these outside energy sources power your ward, you have to channel them. And, of course, ask their permission. It’s potentially dangerous to channel too much energy at once, so I recommend starting with one type of energy at a time, possibly two if you’ve tried one already and think you can handle it. But before we talk about channeling energy (which will be covered in a separate lesson), let me walk you through creating a purely energetic ward. Keep in mind that this is only the way I do this.

There are many kinds of rules you can include in your wards. I’m about to show you a few of my own old ones (they’ve been revamped.) NEVER show your ward’s current rules to anyone, unless you want them having the ability to take them down. If someone knows how you made your ward it is extremely easy to un-create it.

The sources (the types of energy I channeled to create this ward. Please do not attempt this many): Earth, Water, Fire, Air, [4 different spirit companions whose names I will not share], and myself.
The rules:
1. This is a ward. Any being that tries to forcefully enter my ward will be sapped of their own energy.
2. No being may enter my ward unless they are specifically invited. Once they leave, they will have to ask permission to enter again.
3. [I named the beings that were able to enter my ward] are allowed to enter/leave my ward at any time unless I say otherwise.
4. The ward will injure, eat, and forcefully expel any being that tries to enter the ward without permission. The ward will take 15% of [my and my spirit companions’] energy before failing and letting the intruder(s) inside, where they will be trapped until I personally expel them. The elements will contribute however much energy they are willing.
5. I can temporarily let any being enter the ward by saying, “I accept [(name) into my ward]”
6. Negative energy will be continuously expelled from and deflected by my ward.
7. Any curses or hexes cast on any member of my family, including me, will be reflected back at the castor(s).
8. [My spirit companions] can all add their own protective spells to strengthen this ward, but cannot change any of the existing rules.
9. My own energy cannot leave the ward unless I specifically will it to do so.
10. The ward will be rooted to my house [my address]. A small part of the ward will break off and come with me or [my mother] any time we leave the house, physically or spiritually, and will return to the ward rooted at [my address] when we re-enter it.
11. I can change these rules at any time.

This is an old set of rules. I encourage you to make your own, but I’m showing you these so that you can see the degree of specificity that is required. Name all full names, all addresses, any time you are referencing them… or define reference names for them. Also, keep in mind that this is just an energy ward. There are simpler wards out there but many do require that you define a very specific set of rules. I had to fix my vocabulary on a lot of these rules, too.

I’ll be going more in-depth into all of these methods and more in later lessons, so don’t feel too lost if you don’t understand any of this now. Also, don’t feel pressured to try and attempt any of these at this point, although you can if you want to. The worst that can go wrong in a protective spell is that it doesn’t work, at this point (although I’d hold off on attempting a ward for the moment).

Thoughtforms:

good god there’s a lot to go through here.

Destroying Your Thoughtforms:

wolfofantimonyoccultism:

The process of destroying your thought form can be brought on for many different reasons from simply being finished with the reason that you created them to them going rogue, and getting out of your control. Knowing how to destroy thought forms can be very helpful in these situations and should be something every practitioner that works with thoughtforms should know in case they ever have to go through the process of destroying one of their thoughtforms.

Built-in destruction:

When going through the process of creating your thoughtform you are able to program in kill switches that when triggered will self-destruct your thoughtform. These can be incredibly useful in providing a quick, and easy way for your thought form to be destroyed, if certain parameters are reached that you do not intend, or as a way to clean them up after a certain point after you know you will be done with them. In order to instill these in to your thoughtform during the creation process all you have to do is intend them in, much like you would a name, attribute, or personality trait. These kill switches can be set up as specific times, such as giving your thoughtform a week after they are created in order to exist, or accomplish their goal, once the time limit is reached they will be terminated. You can also set up your thoughtform to have kill switches that are based around specific phrases. These phrases should be something that are usually never utter, so that the thoughtform is not accidentally destroyed. These phrases can be literally anything and will usually be programed to only be activated when the creator of the thoughtform utters the phrase. You could also use the completing of their objective (if they have one) as a kill switch allowing them to complete their objective then be destroyed, and returned back to the energy they were naturally. One of the more useful for kill switches is to program it to trigger when they go into a roguelike state preventing this roguelike state from causing any problems, or harm. Many of these kill switches can be very useful depending upon what you’re going for, so it is important to select one that would be is inline with your needs.

Items that are connected, or are of the thoughtform:

Items such as the housing, the sigil, artistic representations, or anything else that is connected or represents the thoughtform must be taken into consideration when going through the destruction process. These things will have to be destroyed as well, or at least cleansed, because they may allow the thoughtform to regenerate, and come back from destruction. These items can do this because they hold energy, and some intention of the thoughtform, which could facilitate the re-creation. These items may also even accidentally make you recreate the thoughtform by reminding you of it which may bring you to refocus on it and give it energy, which may make it possible for it to regenerate back into the world.

Forgetting the thoughtform:

After you go through the process of destroying your thoughtform you should forget, and not think incessantly about them, so that you do not go through the process of accidentally creating them again. If the thoughtform is also known by more than one person, the other person that is not the creator could end up also starting the re-creation process by thinking about it, and accidentally giving that intention energy, so it is also important for them to forget about it, and to not keep it in their mind. This process will be harder the more people know about the thoughtform, so well known about servitors, and tulpas may become quite hard to destroy, and that would make intendedly created egregores, and godforms probably near impossible to destroy that are connected to large groups. This would be because they would be feeding off of the energy, and intentions of those groups, and would simply regenerate, and with so many people as factors it would be very unlikely for them on to go through the forgetting process.

How to destroy a thoughtform manually:

1) The first thing you must do is find a quiet position where you will not be disturbed so you can focus on destroying your thoughtform. To this spot you should also bring all the things that you have that are connected, or are of the thoughtform, so that you will also be able to destroy them.

2) Once you are in this position you should enter an altered state of consciousness so that you will be better connected with the thoughtform. Next go through the process of calling your thoughtform to you by simply calling out to it, and asking it to appear to you. You may also be able to have a better connection to your thought form if you are holding or interacting with its housing. Wait for it to appear to you and your mind’s eye so you can begin your interaction.

3) See your thought form in your mind’s eye as well as you can, then declare to it that you are going to destroy it. This will allow you to get your intention to destroy the thought-form started. once you have declared your intention visualize the thoughtform breaking down, and returning back to the energy that it was naturally. See it slowly being destroyed as you will its energy to disperse, and break down.

4) Once you feel that you have broken it down sufficiently you can send that energy into the earth to be cleansed. Once you’re done with that know that the thoughtform has been destroyed, and that its energies have been recycled into the Earth. At this point in time is where you would destroy, or cleanse any items that are related, or connected to the thought-form. After that the forgetting process can now begin, and you should go about keeping the thoughtform out of your mind to not give energy, and intention back to it. With all that done you can go on your way knowing that your thoughtform has been destroyed.

Energy Work Basics

scarletprophecies:

@tottallynotawitch replied to your post “Using Fire & Solar Energy To Heal”

Where can I find the basics of energy work?

There’s plenty of resources out there available to you on Tumblr, you need only look. I’m sure there are plenty of energy work tags on plenty of blogs out there. The very basics of energy work is to learn how to ground, cleanse, and to sense it. I learned to ground from an old book for Wicca years ago. LOL

What is Energy Work?

To put it simply, energy work is working with unseen forces that’s generally labeled as energy. The concept of energy can take on many forms in both the physical and intangible. An object at rest can store up kinetic energy while the sun can emit solar energy. You have two sides to energy and that’s the scientific and then there’s energy work in witchcraft. Most practices utilizes some form of energy work guided by intention by the worker.

Centering

Centering yourself is the act of calming your mind and your emotions. It’s a kind of meditative state where you begin to feel more within and around you. The best way to learn to center is to learn to meditate. Meditation is the basic of most practices. You can reach a meditative state while walking, exercising, in the shower, reading, etc. You tend to focus your mind to the point where the rest of the world fades into the background. Active meditation aids you in keeping your body focused on a task that tends to be repetitive for your mind to become still. There are plenty of guided meditations you can try and search for on YouTube.

Grounding

The basic idea was to sit down with your legs crossed and begin to meditate. You imagine yourself as a tree and set down roots where the base of your spine would be and the trunk being your spine, the sprouts above your head. The intention was to connect with the earth and then push out all your ‘bad’ energies into the earth and take within its energies to hold within yourself. Then release it and slowly come out of the meditative state by withdrawing your roots. I used this grounding method while starting out and it was a very common one to use. It didn’t work as well for me as my cosmic grounding method that I adjusted for the solar grounding within my post.

Typically, you should feel rejuvenated and relaxed when you ground. There’s plenty of guided meditation methods you can try. I even covered a few fire and solar grounding techniques within the post you commented on if you’d like to try those. Here’s plenty of links I have on hand with various grounding methods:

Sensing Energy

I learned to ground before I learned how to sense energy. Sensing energy involves a lot of patience, practice, and being patient with yourself. You don’t instantly become amazing at energy work. It takes you taking the time to repeatedly practice and push yourself. A good exercise to begin with is to start with your hands. Find a quiet place for yourself so you won’t be disturbed. Hold your hands, palms facing each other together. Now close your eyes and take deep breaths. (You don’t have to close your eyes yet I recommend it for the first time because removing the visual sense heightens your other senses.) Focus on the feel between your hands and gather your energy there. They should feel warm already just from having your hands together even before going into this with the intention of gathering energy from your body heat.

Next, slowly pull them apart and back together, not quite touching to focus on the feel against your palms. You should feel a slight push or pull. You can jiggle your hands a little side to side to get a feel for that sensation. The next step is to create a greater distance between your hands to work on sensing that energy between them. It can get weaker the further apart they are yet you’ll get better at it the more you play around with this. I used to play with this as a kid in school to make energy balls in my hands.

The next step up from working with your own energy is to work with plants. You hold your hands on either side of the plant with your palms pointing inward to each other. You concentrate on feeling for the plant’s energy, that slight push pulls against your hands. It’s important to take notes and keep track of how things feel for you because energy work will become subjective to you on your techniques over time. This method to feel a plant’s energy can be applied to rocks, objects, spirits, etc. Go nuts. I moved onto candles after plants when I started. You can figure out what energy you can feel and not feel.

Shielding

Shielding is the act of using your energy or an outside source to create a protective shield around you. You can apply this as a personal shield around your body, an object, yourself, etc. This can range from protective wards to stopping others from intruding into your space. You can get creative as you’d like yet you’d have to tie the protective measure to an energy source to draw its power from. The most common forms of energy source to work with while beginning are the four basic elements (earth, air, fire, water), the moon, and the sun. You generally want to avoid using yourself as a source well as you have a finite amount of energy to provide and can tap yourself out by overworking yourself. There are physical objects you can use as protective measures or working with spirits yet I’m going to stick with the energy work focused for the purposes of this post.

Charging

The act of charging is using energy to fill up an object. It’s most commonly used with crystals. You often hear of people leaving various crystals or objects out in the sun or moon for awhile. This usually is to be filled with solar or lunar energies while at the same time become cleansed. You could charge water, candles, etc.

Programming

Programming is a continuation of charging and that is to give the object a purpose set through intention, sigils, spells, etc. The object itself has its own energy yet you can program it to act a certain way by specifying what for while charging the object. You can charge an object with your own energy, solar, lunar, fire, water, earth, air, whatever other energy sources you find or can think of. Setting the intention of the charging would create it’s programming which can be further enforced over using this object for its intended purpose. Repeatedly using it as such will cement in this programming.

Energy Based Witchcraft and Quick Practices

quris-sparky:

All right, so this is essentially the beginning of energy related witchcraft that I’ll be posting about as I try it and learn new things. Feel free to try out some of the stuff I talk about here but please remember that this is your journey and you can and should edit and tweak everything to best fit you.

Types of Energy

Reserved Energy

Reserved Energy floats either just above or below your skin. It should feel like it’s attached to you and resist most attempts to use it. It is minimally pliant, minimally workable, and mostly just exists as a backup or protection.

Latent Energy

Latent Energy is typically a ball of energy that is extremely malleable and easily visualized. This type of energy is more ‘for your use’. It can be visualized anywhere in the body; however, where ever it best seems to fit (i.e. a ball of energy in your stomach, chest, head, etc) is normally where it stays. Latent energy is great to work with to give yourself a better mastery over molding both Reserved and Latent energy.

Neighboring/Immediate Energy

Neighboring (or Immediate) Energy is an amalgamation of your energies and outside forces. It’s best visualized and felt by meditating. If you’ve meditated and felt like you were basically out of your own body and hazy, you’ve felt Neighboring Energy. It’s less you and, as a by product, significantly harder to work with. It’s not as difficult as Reserved Energy since that’s an active rejection to change, and this is simply difficult because you’re reaching beyond yourself.

Visualizing Your Energy

Visualizing energy can be a bit tricky, but seeing your energy, in my opinion, is equally important as feeling it. Being able to see and acknowledge your energy makes feeling and moving it so much simpler. There are a couple of ways to visualize your energy, so we’ll hop into those first:

First Plane Visualization (FPV)

If you close your eyes to visualize your energy and the first thing you see is your body, this is where you’re at. First Plane Visualization essentially means your energy best manifests itself to you as a physical part of you. Personally, I feel this makes it easier to work with Latent and Reserved Energy, but harder to work with Neighboring.

Second Plane Visualization (SPV)

If attempting to visualize your energy brings up empty space with your energy in some form or shape in it, congrats, this is you. This type of visualization makes it significantly easier to work with energy that isn’t yours but more difficult to work with your own as well. Your energy seems to best manifest itself as a construct in your mind, essentially on a different plane than your physical body. To use it, you have to get around your own barrier between it and physicality whereas outside energies that are already on your plane don’t need any extra work for you to work with them.

When you visualize your energy, you’re essentially introducing yourself and greeting it. In the same way you most likely wouldn’t hand a stranger a thousand dollars, your energy isn’t likely to do much for you if you don’t at least know it.

Moving Your Energy

Think of your energy as a muscle, if you never use it, it becomes that much more difficult to begin using and to strengthen it.  Please don’t expect to hop in, visualize your energy once, and suddenly have it do everything you want it to.

First try visualizing your energy with your eyes closed. Spend some time with it, don’t demand anything of it. Is your energy naturally calm? Does it spin lazily as you sit with it? Is your energy a spitfire, constantly flinging out strands of itself and wrapping around everything it can without leaving it’s basic shape? Who is your energy? What kind of personality do you get from it?

Try to learn and love your energy every time you visualize it. When you’ve got the image of your energy firmly in your head, preferably to the point where you can almost feel  it wherever it’s best visualized, try moving it. Try to get a strand of it to detach from the bulk of your energy and pull it towards you. If that’s difficult, simply work on moving the bulk of your energy towards and away from you (SPV) or around your body (FPV). This should honestly take awhile. Remember that you’re not simply trying to visualize it, but feel it. As it moves, you should feel it. Once you’ve got a mastery of that, try opening your eyes and doing it over again.

When you can move your energy in bulk or pieces with a bit more ease, I recommend pushing it to the surface. The easiest place to feel Latent Energy is between your palms. If trying to move your energy with in yourself simply won’t work for you, try this instead, then move back to that later. To push your energy to your hands for FPV, imagine it wherever it tends to manifest itself. Push it, either in whole or (preferably) in part, down or up your body and into your palms. If you need your eyes closed to direct it, by all means, close them; however, once you’ve got it comfortably in your palms, open your eyes and try to get used to keeping a hold on your energy with your eyes open. Allow it to do as it pleases within the space between your palms. Start out with maybe half a foot between your hands and slowly increase the distance as you grow more confident.

For SPV, visualize your energy and bring it towards you. Bring out either two bits of it, still connected to the whole, or the bulk of it towards yourself until it feels like you’ve stepped inside of it or as though it’s encompassed you. Carefully, without losing that feeling, visualize it (either with your eyes opened or closed depending on what works better for you) sparking its way down your arms and into your hands. If that’s too far to visualize, simply imagine it condensing between or in your palms for the get-go. Because your own image is less involved in your own energy, expect to have a harder time keeping it where you want it to be.

Energy, like most objects, rejects movement without force. When you move it at first, it may feel like it snaps back to where it started no matter what you do. Keep practicing and remember that it hasn’t really moved in years, so it’ll take some work to get it to move now.

Energy Exercises

We’re finally at the end of what I can share for the time being. I only have a couple of practices that I’ve been using lately, only one of which I’ll add here, specifically for Reserved Energy because that’s what I’m practicing working with currently. I will update this as time goes on but I do want to be sure before I give put any exercises. For example, one of them uses hunger as a basis and I don’t know how I feel about giving a purpose to staying hungry, so I’ll wait to add that if at all.

Exercise 1

Find a cold room or area, cold enough to give you goosebumps but not enough to shiver. Furthermore, if it’s outdoors, make sure there’s little to no wind. Wear short or no sleeves. Allow the cold to seep into your skin. Visualize your reserved energy; this may be a thin layer above or below your skin.

If it appears above your skin, give it intent, push it to separate you from the cold. In practice, this literally felt like a wash of lukewarm warmth sliding down from my head. The cold felt like someone holding an ice cube near my skin, but didn’t actually make me cold.

If it appears below your skin, incite it to heat itself. The cold should sink into your skin and meet that barrier of energy and fizzle out. I can’t tell you how it feels in practice because my Reserved Energy appears above the skin. If you try this out and are okay to share, I’d love to know how it differs.

Updates

I’ll either update or make new posts on this as I learn. I love energy based craft and I’ve got a lot more things I’m practicing that I’m not confident enough in quite yet to share…but soon. Here’s a mini-list of what you can expect in the future:

Moving Energy Into Objects

Visualizing Neighboring Energy

Using Neighboring Energy

Taking Energy from an Object

NOTE: All of the names I’ve given energy, energy types, etc were made by me simply to make it easier to refer to and talk about. If you call any of the feelings or activities something else, by all means, continue doing so. This is just what makes it easiest to understand for me.
