Honestly y’all I need more Taako and Barry interactions. I need more Taako welcoming Barry with open arms to their family. I need Barry supporting Taako helping him recover with Lup. I  need them giving each other looks across the dinner table as Lup is chatting away that are like “Fuck. FUCK how did we make it without her?” I need them having moments where Taako is vulnerable to Barry because Barry fucking GETS IT. He KNOWS. Lup was gone for 12 years, they both forgot her and while Barry could recover those memories more so than Taako, he understands. Lup was gone. And while that is his twin sister and he loves her to death, those 12 years changed Taako so much that he may even have some walls put up for her too. Trying to be this Taako she remembers. The  Taako that would be like “Okay you sad sacks of shit lets go out.” and the three of them would load up and chug as much alcohol as they could and dance as much as they wanted and laugh heartily without that weight of emptiness. 

But Barry…Barry fucking knows that hurt – not just from losing Lup, but everything. Glamour Springs, Wonderland, everything. Knows what it was like to lose it all.

Because they both loved her so much it was like loving the sun. And it burned them bad
