Music to write, roleplay, or study to! These playlists are works in progress and are continuously growing and improving. Titled after like-themed action movie and game music, the playlists each have their own personality, and encourage different moods or activity levels. Most music is from soundtracks. The calmest playlists, Temple Ruins and Party Camp, are useful for getting into the mood. This music is less distracting. Once your pace is set, or if you want to get in the mood for an action scene, Underworld or Boss Fight are the playlists for you. Tavern Nights is what it sounds like, full of highs and lows but can be distracting. Field Music is right in the middle, with lots of color.
All playlists are available to follow on Spotify, and can also be accessed via the web player with a free Spotify account. Just click on the [listen] for the link. Please do not hesitate to suggest music/changes to me, either here or on Spotify.

My new amv is out! I loved this podcast so much. Even though I got into this show very late I’m glad that I still found it and as soon as I finished it I wanted to make something for it. Thank you all artists that let me use your work. I could not have made this without every single one of you.
Please take a break from the Bruno Mars discourse* and listen to Bad Rabbits.
Bad Rabbits deal in Funk, R&B, New Jack Swing. The last album, American Nightmare, has a lot of rock instrumentation but that belongs to us too so we’re claiming it.
For their second album, they were mentored and produced by Teddy Riley. They have their own take on New Jack Swing, the songs being in the style but not so dead-on that you feel like you’re listening to something insincere or something that feels more like Weird Al pastiche than an original(all respect to the GOAT Yankovic). In that tradition, songs are mostly about booty, relationships, being messy and partying. I’ve seen them live three times and they never disappoint. They have three studio albums, all of them on Spotify for your enjoyment [HERE].
They also have a series of covers on their youtube channel.
My favorite original song of theirs is Can’t Back Down.
I feel like I’ve made this post before but it doesn’t matter. I like this band. And with the recent conversation about R&B music, I see a lot of people forgetting to name names and make recommendations. Some people are still in the mindset of their junior high selves where keeping their favorite “authentic” band to themselves make them cool. It doesn’t, it just keeps them from would-be fans. So go forth and listen.
