To follow up my post on using pendulums, here’s one on making them! 😀

There are hundreds of ways to create a pendulum, and they are all fairly easy. Here are three simple methods to try out:

Needle and Thread Pendulum

What you’ll need:

• One needle
• A piece of thread

String your thread through your needle, knot it, and cut it to your desired length. Use as a pendulum.

Stone/Crystal Pendulum

What you’ll need:

• One small crystals/stone
• One piece of string/yarn/twine (thread is too thin, usually)

Wrap the string around your stone/crystal, and cut to your desired length. Or, if possible, create a hole through the stone and tie a string to that. Cut string and use as pendulum.

Pendant/Necklace Pendulum

What you’ll need:

• One chain/necklace string with clasps
• One charm from necklace (most have a ring on it)

Unclasp the necklace, remove the charm, and hook it to one end of the necklace. Hold the other end of the necklace, and use as a pendulum.
